Services Moved to Live Stream
5/3-5/10
Friends,
As a result of the latest recommendations of the U.S. and State Governments, the CDC, and also out of an abundance of love for our neighbors; St. Paul's will not be holding Sunday Services or any meetings for the next several weeks.
However, we will be live streaming our 10:10am Sunday Services online on our homepage. These services will be interactive with hymns and an order of service available in PDF format that can also be found on our homepage.
A quick note on giving. There are now two ways you can give. 1) You can mail your weekly offerings to the church. 2) You can give online at stpaulssarver.com/give. Let me encourage you to sacrificially give during this crisis. While many of our activities have grinded to a halt, most of St. Paul’s expenses have not. Our Council and Treasurer are monitoring our church finances closely. Thank you for your continued faithful giving to St. Paul’s.
Finally, although most of us are confined to our homes at the present moment, we can still be the church to one another and our neighbors in need. Here are some ideas:
-
Write a letter to a shut-in, especially someone on lock down in area care facilities. If you need addresses, email me at pastorshawn@stpaulssarver.com
-
Consider making grocery trips for the elderly of our congregation and in your neighborhood
-
Donate to an area foodbank.
To sum up, please know that the church is still the church. Church is never canceled. We are just finding new ways to be the church.
God Bless,
Pastor Shawn Smith and Church Council
